Creation of the concept
The Company’s concept was established in 2011 by SwistBankers under the leadership of the researcher Toomas Kaevand from Tallinn University of Technology. This was followed by several years of development and building a laboratory-based device park. At the same time, a marketing concept was being framed as well as a user-friendly online environment. In January 2015 the first batch of personalized nutritional supplements was complete. In January 2017 the product range consisted of 21 products with first health packages introduced to the market. By January 2018 there are 42 products and 19 health packages on the market.
The Company produces food supplements (incl. vitamins and minerals) and health products (e.g. superfoods, detox products, rapid tests) under the trademark of Meravita. There are universal supplements as well as personalized supplements, i.e. for every client, a personal vitamin and mineral complex is made in accordance with a questionnaire completed by the recipient. The questionnaire provides information about the individual’s health, lifestyles and eating habits. In view of the foregoing, the individual is prepared a formulation containing the necessary elements in the proportions and quantities based on the individual’s nutritional needs. The Company considers the personalized food supplement to have the most significant potential in the future.
